This is a poem about time and life: big trees waiting for birds, sailing ships waiting for sailors, war horses waiting for cavalry, cherries waiting for spring, children waiting for their mothers to nurse them, and today waiting for tomorrow. The different images are like switching film shots, painting a majestic and complete picture of life including the conception, birth, growth, ideals and love, war and freedom, toil and harvest, and moreover, the cycle of destiny.
