The Fox and the Ant

狐狸和蚂蚁

Teller: 讲述人

Teller: (Fox and Ant wanted to plant some wheat together. Only Ant worked from morning till evening. Fox didn't work at all. When the wheat was ripe, Fox wanted to take all of it. 狐狸和蚂蚁一起种下了麦子。但是，每天只有蚂蚁从早忙到晚，狐狸从来不去干活。当麦子成熟的时候，狐狸却想把所有的麦子据为己有。)

Fox:  My dear friend ，how shall we decide who gets the wheat? Let us race. If I get to the mill first, I will take all the wheat. If you get there first, you may take all the wheat. OK？

Teller: (Ant thought for a while, then agreed. 蚂蚁想了想，然后就同意了。)

Ant:   Ready... set... go!

Teller:( Fox shouted and ran toward the mill. Ant didn't waste time at all - he clung to Fox's tail. When Fox reached the mill, he shook his tail happily and threw Ant ahead. 狐狸跑到了磨坊，高兴地摇晃着尾巴，把蚂蚁甩到了前面。)

Ant:   Hey, Fox! Why are you so late?                    

Fox:  （Fox was surprised. 狐狸大吃一惊。）When did you get here？  

Ant:   A long time ago.

Teller: (So Fox went away. Ant took all of the wheat into the mill. He made it into flour. Then he had enough flour to make bread. The lazy Fox was very hungry the whole winter.  狐狸听后灰溜溜地走开了。蚂蚁把所有的麦子都运到磨坊磨成了面粉，这样他就有足够的面粉去做面包了。而懒惰的狐狸却要度过一个饥肠辘辘的冬天。)
