Let’s paint!

小精灵的画作

Characters in the play剧中人物:  Yellow Elf, Green Elf, Red Elf and Blue Elf.

The scene场景: Spring is coming. The elves are ready to paint the world.

Teller: 讲述人，剧中人物按讲述人的话去表演

Yellow Elf: I can't wait to paint. I’m going to paint the sun yellow.

Green Elf: I can't wait to paint. I'm going to paint the grass green.

Red Elf: I can't wait to paint. I'm going to paint the flowers red.

Blue Elf: I'm not going to paint anything. I'm just going to stay in bed!

Teller: Yellow Elf takes her paintbrush and paints the sun yellow. Green Elf takes his paintbrush and paints the grass green. Red Elf takes her paintbrush and paints the flowers red. They stand up happily in the sunshine. They find there is still something missing.

Yellow Elf: I know. It's the sky. The sky has not been painted.

Green Elf: That's right! Do you think Blue Elf is still in bed?

Red Elf: Let's go and see.

Teller: So they all go to see Blue Elf.

All: Come on, Blue Elf! The grass is green, the flowers are red, and the sun is shining. All we need is the blue sky!

Blue Elf: (蓝精灵向窗外望去。)Hurray!（他一下子从床上跳了起来，将天空涂成了碧蓝色。）

Teller: Now it's perfect! The elves are so happy. They sing and dance under the blue sky.
